Class Action Concerning Kugel Mesh Membranes
Class action description
This class action concerns people who received a Kugel Mesh membrane or patch as described in the motion, for treatment of an abdominal hernia. Those Kugel Mesh membranes or patches have a «memory recall rings» that allows the patch to regain its shape after being inserted by laparoscopy. That ring can break and cause internal injury.
Group description
All Quebec residents who have received a Kugel Mesh product as described in the motion. Note: Similar classa actions have been initiated in the United States and in Ontario.
