Chronology

1987: Authorization to institute a class action and the same year, the appeal was authorized. 1993: The Superior Court cancelled and terminated the contracts, followed by the order to refund each member an amount ranging between $99 and $179. Furthermore, the Court sentenced the defendants to pay each of the plaintiffs a sum of $100 as exemplary damages.
