Any consumer holder of a credit card from with Banque Amex du Canada, or Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Royal Bank of Canada, National bank of Canada, Bank of Nova-Scotia, Banque Laurentienne du Canada, Banque Le choix du Président, Toronto Dominion Bank, Bank of Montreal, Citibank Canada, Fédération des Caisses Desjardins du Québec and MBNA Canada, who have since October 4th, 2001, paid fees for cash advances for transactions in Canada and abroad.

A settlement has been concluded, subject to the approval of the Court, between Option consommateurs, the Bank of Nova Scotia and President’s Choice Bank (‎collectively the “Banks”) in the context of a class action launched by Option consommateurs against the Banks regarding the calculation of fees applied to certain transactions involving a credit card, namely the over-the-limit fees and the cash advance fees. A hearing will take place at the Court house of Montreal on October 26th 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in room 2.08 to obtain the approval of the Settlement Agreement in the class action.
